The Department of State decides every filing. Here is what we do with each answer it can give.

The terms
What the guarantee asks of you, and what we do
The work is ours. The guarantee asks two things of you, the two only you can do.
You
Answer our questions in writing. What the certificate says (the new service of process address, the email choice, who signs and in what capacity) comes from your written reply, word for word.
You
Sign the certificate. A member, manager or authorized person of the LLC signs it. We never sign for the LLC.
We
Prepare the certificate from your LLC's live State record and your written answers.
We
File what you confirmed: only the certificate you signed, electronically through eCorp under our operator's service company account.
We
Re-file at our cost when the State asks for a correction or rejects the filing for a reason we can fix with you.
We
Refund the full $100 when the State cannot accept the filing for a reason we cannot fix with you.
If a correction needs a new signature or an answer only you can give, we ask you by email. If you do not reply within 30 days, we close your request and refund the full $100.
The guarantee is about your LLC's New York State record. The New York Department of State processes each certificate on its own schedule, so any time Remove Registered Agent gives is an estimate from past filings, not a promise. Cancelling the agent company's service is the LLC's own step, taken with the agent company under that company's terms.

How to claim your refund
Until we submit your signed certificate to the Department of State, you can ask for the full $100 back, for any reason. After that, the State's answer decides, as the table above shows.

Include your request number (it starts with "RRA-") or your LLC's exact name.
We reply by email. Once we issue a refund, we confirm it by email.
Every refund is the full $100, including the $30 State filing fee inside it, to the card or other payment method you paid with. Refunds usually appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days.

What the guarantee rests on
As of , our operator has filed 100 New York Certificates of Change since January 2026, all accepted by the State: the same filing a New York LLC uses to revoke its registered agent. These are past records, not a promise.
Remove Registered Agent files each signed certificate electronically through the E-Submission upload of eCorp, the Department of State's online filing system, under its operator's service company account; filers without a service company account email or mail the Certificate of Change.

Can anyone promise that the State accepts a Certificate of Change?
No. The Department of State decides every filing, and no filer can promise its decision. Our guarantee is about your money: the Certificate of Change accepted by the State, or your full $100 back.
Does the guarantee refund the State filing fee too?
Yes. Every refund is the full $100, including the $30 State filing fee inside it, to the card or other payment method you paid with.
Can I change my mind after I pay, before you file?
Yes. Until we submit your signed certificate to the Department of State, you can ask for the full $100 back, for any reason.
Does the guarantee cover what I pay my registered agent company?
No. The guarantee covers what you paid us. Whether the agent company's billing ends depends on its own terms, and so does whether any refund from the agent company applies.
Does the guarantee promise how fast the State files?
No. The New York Department of State processes each certificate on its own schedule, so any time Remove Registered Agent gives is an estimate from past filings, not a promise. The guarantee is about the State's answer, not its timing.
What if I want a change after the State files the certificate?
The guarantee is met once the State files the certificate you confirmed and signed. A change after that is a new request: we tell you its price before we prepare it.
