Refund policy

Our guarantee

The Certificate of Change accepted by the State, or your full $100 back. Every certificate we file for you carries this guarantee, and this policy is how it works.

Once you have paid, your request ends in one of two ways: the State files your certificate, or we refund the full $100, State filing fee included. If the State asks for a correction, we make it and resubmit the certificate at no charge. If it rejects the filing for a reason we can fix with you, we file it again at no extra charge. If it cannot accept the filing for a reason we cannot fix with you, or you decide not to make a fix it asks for, we refund the full $100.

The guarantee rests on your written answers, which set what we file, and on your signature (see "What we need from you" below). It does not promise the State's decision; it promises that your request ends with the certificate accepted by the State or the full price back. It does not cover how long the State takes, or anything your agent company does. Our guarantee page explains it in plain words; this policy controls.

In short

• You pay only after we have confirmed with you what your LLC's certificate will say, and you have signed it. Our check of your LLC's record is free.
• Until we submit your signed certificate to the Department of State, you can ask for the full $100 back, for any reason.
• If we stop your request after you pay and before we submit your certificate, we refund the full $100 without waiting for you to ask.
• If the State asks for a correction, we make the correction and resubmit the certificate at no charge. If the correction changes the certificate, you sign the corrected copy first.
• If the State rejects the filing for a reason we can fix with you, we fix it and file it again as a new submission at no extra charge.
• If the State cannot accept the filing for a reason we cannot fix with you, we refund the full $100.
• If your LLC's record shows a status we do not serve, or nothing to remove and you ask for no address update, we file nothing and charge nothing.
• Every refund is the full $100, including the $30 State filing fee inside it, to the card or other payment method you paid with.

What you pay for

Remove Registered Agent files a New York LLC's Certificate of Change for $100 all in, including the $30 State filing fee.

That price covers:

• reading your LLC's live record at the New York Department of State and confirming the case with you;
• preparing the Certificate of Change (form DOS-1359-f, or DOS-1362-f for a foreign LLC) for you to sign;
• the $30 State filing fee;
• submitting the signed certificate to the Department of State;
• checking the live record afterwards, and sending you the State's filing receipt and what changed.

The price is one payment for one certificate for one LLC, with nothing recurring.

When you pay

We send you a payment link by email only after:

1. you have confirmed in writing what the certificate should say, and
2. you have signed it, and the signed copy matches the copy we sent you.

We submit your certificate only after your payment goes through. If you stop before paying, nothing is charged. If your LLC's record shows a status we do not serve, or nothing to remove and you ask for no address update, we file nothing and charge nothing.

When you get your money back

The New York Department of State publishes no standard processing time for a Certificate of Change, and we promise none. How long the State takes does not change which row applies.

What a refund covers

• The full amount you paid us: $100, with the $30 State filing fee inside it. A refund under this policy is always the whole amount, never a part.
• Back to the way you paid: the refund goes to the card or other payment method you paid with.
• Only your payment to us. Anything you pay anyone else, such as your registered agent company, is outside this policy.

How refunds are paid

Remove Registered Agent, a document filing service for New York LLCs, is operated by Sandeep Arneja LLC.

Who takes your payment. Sandeep Arneja LLC, which also operates LLC Publishers, takes your payment and issues any refund. The payment page, the card checkout, the receipt and any refund email show the name LLC Publishers, and your card statement shows the payment request number (PR-...).

This policy applies to your payment for a Remove Registered Agent filing, even though the payment page asks you to agree to LLC Publishers' Terms. Where those Terms limit refunds to the service fee, this policy applies instead.

• When a refund is due, we issue it in full from the payment request you paid. Stripe, the payment processor behind that page, returns it to the card or other payment method you paid with.
• A refund email, with a refund receipt, goes to the email address on the payment.
• Refunds usually appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days.
• If a second payment reaches a payment link that is already paid, that second payment is refunded in full, and you receive a refund notice by email.

How to ask for a refund

1. Email sandeep@removeregisteredagent.com, or reply to any email from us about your request.
2. Include your request number (it starts with "RRA-") or your LLC's exact name.
3. We reply by email.

For anything about a charge or your request, write to our email address, not to the payment receipt: the receipt and refund emails come from a different mailbox. Once we issue a refund, we confirm it by email.

What we need from you

• Your written answers. What the certificate says (the new service of process address, the email choice, who signs and in what capacity) comes from your written reply, word for word. Please check them before you sign.
• Your signature. You, as a member, manager or authorized person of the LLC, sign the certificate. We never sign for the LLC.
• A reply if the State asks for something. If a correction needs a new signature or an answer only you can give, we ask you by email.

Your agent company

Remove Registered Agent files the Certificate of Change that takes the agent company off the LLC's New York record. Cancelling the agent company's service is the LLC's own step, taken with the agent company under that company's terms. Whether the agent company's billing ends depends on its own terms, and so does whether any refund from the agent company applies. This policy covers only what you paid us.

Questions

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. Our request form has a box you must tick before you can send it. By ticking it, you agree to our Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy and this policy. You then accept our Terms of Service for your request when you reply in writing to our confirmation email to confirm your request and state that you accept them. The version of this policy in effect on the day you reply applies to your request.
